Drivers are being urged to go a different way home at rush hour this evening as a crash on the M40 has caused miles of queues.
The west side of High Wycombe and the Cressex Business Park area is expected to be heavily congested this evening following the crash, which has happened southbound between junction 5 for Stokenchurch and junction 4 for Handy Cross.
There were two lanes shut out of three, although all lanes have now reopened, and there are at least four miles of congestion, which National Highways says is causing delays of more than 45 minutes.
Transport for Bucks warned that it was "likely to cause congestion on the West side of High Wycombe and Cressex Business park area", adding: "Please drive with care and take alternate routes if possible."
