A driver who was caught going more than 30mph over the speed limit has avoided a driving ban.
Oliver Cove, 35, was caught doing 72mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 in Bicester on July 17 last year.
According to a check on the registration plate on the government website, he was driving a Range Rover Sport at the time.
Mr Cove, of Woodhill Avenue in Gerrards Cross, has been given a hefty fine to pay, but magistrates did not impose a driving ban because of "mitigating circumstances".
The driver was ordered to pay £666, as well as £90 of costs and a £66 victim services surcharge.
He was also given six points on his driving license, but was not given a ban because of the impact it would have on his wife and children and a potential loss of employment.
