An Amersham woman has been given a hefty fine and banned from the roads after she was caught drink driving.
Samatha Yates, 44, of Park Place, was found guilty of driving over the legal limit at a trial at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 13.
The court heard how Yates was caught under the influence of alcohol on Boxing Day last year while she was behind the wheel at the BP filling station in White Lion Road, Amersham.
The driver gave a breath test result of 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
Yates denied the drink driving charge, but after considering the evidence, the magistrates found her guilty.
The justices handed Yates a £180 fine and ordered her to pay £654 in costs.
She was also disqualified from driving for 22 months at the end of the hearing.
