An Amersham environmental awareness group is set to host a free talk on energy saving tips at home.
Sustainable Amersham, a volunteer-run environmental residents’ group, will cover energy use at home as part of their Green Energy Talk- series at Amersham Library based at Chiltern Lifestyle Centre on Saturday June 18 at 11am.
Following the success of the group’s previous solar panel talk, the second free talk will cover the amount of energy used at home, how to optimise electricity and gas use to save money and help lower green house emissions.

Those interested can just turn up to the talk at the library, or sign up here.
Sustainable Amersham is asking residents to fill in the anonymour survey about the biggest problems in the area, so that the group can better prepare the talk.
In the previous solar panel talk, interested residents were walked through the process, including what planning rules say about solar panels and costs of installation.
