Drugs ruin lives, and drug dealers are responsible for making many people miserable across Bucks.
Dealers who operate on the streets of Buckinghamshire exploit and take advantage of vulnerable people and make a profit from addicts who can’t get away from their drug habits.
Thanks to hard work from Thames Valley Police, several dealers have been put behind bars over the past few weeks. If you ever see them out on the streets in future, you may want to stay away from them.
Kamran Khalid
This 35-year-old cocaine and heroin dealer was caught with £40,000-worth of drugs hidden in his car.
Police pulled Khalid over outside his home in Brockhurst Road, Chesham, in December 2019.
When they searched his vehicle, they found vast quantities of illegal drugs.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drugs - namely cocaine and heroin.
He was jailed for four years and two months at Aylesbury Crown Court on May 19.
Hyzaifah Khan
20-year-old Khan was caught in the middle of a drug deal by police in Aylesbury.
Khan, of Park Street in Luton, was seen by officers meeting up with two drug users in Milton Road.
When the officers tried to approach Khan, he ran away from them and threw two bundles of Class A drugs under some parked cars.
After a short chase, officers caught up with the offender and detained him, finding that he was carrying £455 in cash.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to three years in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court.
Daniel Dumont
Another failed drug dealer, 38-year-old Dumont attempted to hide his illegal wares as he was being approached by police.
Dumont was arrested in April when he was spotted by police at the back of a property in West Wycombe Road.
As the officers approached Dumont in their police car, they saw him quickly move towards some bushes and discard something in them.
When they searched the bushes, officers found cling film packages containing heroin and cocaine.
After arresting the offender, police searched a room where Dumont had been staying in West Wycombe road. Inside they discovered two phones and some crack cocaine.
Dumont admitted to possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of cannabis and was jailed for three years and four months.
John Koso
This 'naïve and immature' dealer was spared jail despite being involved in a police chase.
Koso, 21, of Ramsons Avenue, Milton Keynes, was 19 years old when police caught him trying to dispose of 15 bags of cannabis on March 16, 2020.
The offender was in a car when police tried to pull him over. Following a short chase, the car stopped and Koso jumped out, running away through shrubbery, where he dropped a black bag containing 15 packets of cannabis, weighing a total of 49 grams and with an estimated street value of £450.
Police arrested Koso and the driver and he eventually pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Avoiding jail, Koso was ordered to carry out 75 hours of unpaid work as punishment.
