Traffic is delayed on the M40 between Wycombe and Beaconsfield
A crash on the M40 is causing major delays between High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.
Two lanes have been closed on the southbound carriageway at Junction 2 following a crash that took place earlier today.
The lanes are remaining closed while engineers carry out emergency barrier repairs at the side of the road.
It is not yet clear how serious the earlier accident was.
Drivers attempting to travel towards London should expect lengthy delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
