A popular nightclub in Aylesbury has closed for the foreseeable future.
Fever & Cirque, which is situated on Kingsbury Square within the town, officially shut after the final guests left the vicinity in the early hours of Friday, June 3.
Opening in 2014, the venue gained a reputation as one of the best nightclubs in Aylesbury with tens of thousands of people visiting the destination in its eight-year run.
Those working at Fever confirmed the news in the morning of Wednesday, June 1, but they insisted that they will return with ‘something new and exciting’.

A part of their statement which was shared on Facebook read: “Fever & Cirque will be closing its doors on Thursday night [June 2] for the last time to make room for something new and exciting.
“We would like to thank all of our customers for the past eight years, we will miss you all but don’t panic, we will be back.”
At this present time, scaffolding has been put up and around the nightclub and according to planning documents on the Buckinghamshire Council website, the entertainment venue is in line for a major revamp in terms of décor and safety equipment.

This will include a new fire alarm and air conditioning, whilst the interior is to be ‘fully decorated’.
Once the venue reopens, guests will be able to expect new lights, seats, bar counters, floor finishes and fire-rated walls.
In addition to this, new raised floors will be added with the existing upholstered padding to the low beams being replaced.
A new lobby, DJ booth and glass wash area will also be added.
The application was submitted to the council at the start of May, and it is not known when the works will be completed.
The date of when Fever will reopen is also not known.
