Marlow has been visited by an anonymous local graffiti artist in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The artist Peachy, who has been likened to the work of Banksy, aptly chose Crown Lane for his latest piece.
The Queen is depicted swinging at bat at crown-shaped piñata with a backdrop of United Kingdom bunting.
A similar piece has been seen in Chesham with the Queen pictured riding a unicycle.
In recent years, the artist has also had work spotted in Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, and further afield in Weymouth and Devon.
Elsewhere in Marlow, you can “party like The Queen” in an event hosted by the town council in Higginson Park today (June 3) from 11am to 5pm.
Guests will be transported back to the 1950s experiencing what England was like during the Queen’s coronation.
