Two men were injured following a crash on the M25 motorway near the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire border.
Two fire engines were called to the crash involving a lorry and a car at around 2.42pm on Tuesday, May 31.
The crash took place on the southbound carriageway between Junction 17 and Junction 16.
One lane was closed to traffic while emergency services attended.
A Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross and one from Hertfordshire attended.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to two men, injured, who were out of their vehicles when the crews arrived.
The incident was left in the hands of National Highways and Thames Valley Police.
