Wycombe Wanderers made an unexpected appearance in the 2022 Championship play-off final programme due to an unfortunate error.
Coined ‘the most lucrative game in football’, the final between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest on Sunday, May 29 saw both teams battle it out for the third and final place in the 2022/23 Premier League season.

However, those who purchased a matchday programme as a little memento surrounding the fixture, will be shocked to discover that several errors were not noticed before going to print.

Spotted by Forest fan Kelly Harrison, who shared the blunders on Twitter, one of the mistakes included the incorrect final being printed on the back of the programme, as it read ‘Sky Bet League One play-off final 2022’, when it should have read 'Sky Bet Championship play-off final 2022'.
Mine says Nottingham Forest on Page 43 but still League One on page 98

Another mistake that was also spotted occurred on page 43 of the bumper special, as a page that was dedicated to the East Midlands club had ‘Wycombe Wanderers’ printed down the side.
And it gets worse 🙈😂 page 43 all down the side, Wycombe wanderers are we 😱 pic.twitter.com/EkQkGhbzcF

After the tweet began to spread, it was revealed by several other users who too purchased programmes, that only a handful of copies were mistakenly printed with the Chairboys’ name.
Therefore, the incorrect programmes will become a rare collector’s item.
This means that they’ll be worth more than the £10 spectators originally paid for them on the day.
Printing error! If you ever want to sell on in future will be worth more. They have probably now made reprints with the correct one on it. Which would mean this error is a limited run lol

On the match, Forest won the final 1-0 and secured a place in the top-flight of English football for the first time since 1999.
