The Chilterns Walking Festival offers tens of guided countryside walks across Bucks.
The festival runs from May 25 until June 5 with a programme of more than 75 guided walks of varying lengths, including River Chess highlights and historical discovery tour around Old Amersham with a guide.
To explore River Chess, the precious chalk stream, walkers set off from Little Chalfont at Chalfont and Latimer railway station on Saturday June 4 at 10am.
The guided 5.5 mile walk over three hours will go past Neptune Falls, Frogmore water meadows, picturesque villages and Chilterns heritage sites - and even a ghost.
