Following Port Vale’s 3-0 win over Mansfield Town in this year’s League Two play-off final, all 24 teams for the 2022/23 League One season have now been confirmed.
Joining Vale with promotion out of England’s fourth tier are Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers, and Bristol Rovers, whilst Peterborough United, Derby County, and Barnsley are all hoping to bounce straight back to the Championship following their relegation into League One.

On the other end, league trips to Wigan Athletic, Rotherham United, Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers, Crewe Alexandra, Gillingham, and AFC Wimbledon, will not be on the cards for next season due to their respective promotions and relegations out of England’s third tier.
