A tribute band playing the music of Carlos Santana is set to one gig only to home audiences in High Wycombe.
Oye Santana returns to Wycombe’s Old Town Hall on Saturday June 11 at 7.30pm.
Since the Covid restrictions began lifting ten months ago, the seven-musician strong band has played their award-winning Latin-flavoured tunes of Carlos Santana across the UK. But the upcoming show is their only show at home.
Wycombe-born lead of the band Milan 'Carlos' Webb on guitar said: “Yes, it’s great to go travelling to play festivals in Europe and theatres and clubs all over the UK.
“But nothing gives us more of a buzz than playing our home town venue for the fans who’ve followed us from the start.”
The danceable show promises 50 years of Santana classics – including Black Magic Woman, Jingo, Samba Pa Ti, Oye Como Va and the showstopping Soul Sacrifice.
Tickets are available from the box office on 0343 310 0060 or online from www.wycombeswan.co.uk/Online/tickets-oye-santana-wycombe-2022
