A woman had to be cut from her vehicle in a four-car crash in Chalfont St Giles.
Firefighters from High Wycombe and Amersham rushed to Cokes Lane at around 6pm on Monday following the serious crash.
Police closed the road while the firefighters used hydraulic equipment to rescue the injured woman from the car.

Once she was out, the woman was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Before the emergency services arrived, three men and one woman had managed to safely exit the other vehicles involved in the smash.
The severity of the woman's injuries is not yet known. Fortunately, no one else needed emergency medical attention.
The road has since been fully reopened to traffic.
