On Saturday June 4 from 10.30 until 2pm Children’s Jubilee Ecofest takes place at St Michael’s Square, Sycamore Road.
Children can build bird boxes, paint with organic materials, collect sunflower seeds as part of the 'tallest sunflower' competition, a bee raffle, and learn how to build a bee with help from the local Scouts.
While the festival is free, raffle tickets cost £1 and the bee-making workshop with Scouts costs £3 to cover materials.
