A man has been charged with possessing a firearm in High Wycombe.

Hassan Ruhan, 23, of Suffield Road, High Wycombe, was charged with Section 5 possession of a prohibited weapon on Friday and appeared at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

At the hearing, he was remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on June 21.

The charges are in connection with a warrant that was conducted in High Wycombe on Wednesday 18 May.
