A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash last night (Tuesday).
At around 10.10pm, a dark-coloured car was involved in a collision with a cyclist at the Sainsbury's roundabout on Bath Road, Taplow.
The cyclist, a man in his fifties, was rushed to Wexham Park Hospital, where he continues to be treated for serious injuries.
The driver of the car did not stop following the crash and drove off towards Slough.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Investigating officer Sergeant Robin Nickless of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision or the moments leading up to the collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have captured dash-cam footage of the incident to contact us.
