TORY frontbencher and Wycombe MP Paul Goodman is to call on colleagues to publish their expenses in full after a week of scandal for the party.
Mr Goodman said he would be happy to publish a breakdown of his expenses but said the shadow team should agree on it first.
His call comes after the party was hit by the case of MP Derek Conway, who overpaid his son Freddie's parliamentary allowances.
Mr Conway has apologised and agreed to step down at the next election.
The case led to Tory MP Ben Wallace publishing a complete breakdown of his expenses and urging colleagues to follow suit.
But Mr Goodman said as a member of the frontbench he is "not in the same position" as Mr Wallace.
Mr Goodman, shadow minister for Communities and Local Government said: "I would be comfortable with publishing all my expenses in detail."
He added: "If I published my expenses without informing my colleagues to do the same it could be seen as an egotistical action."
He added: "The frontbench team should take a collective decision. I will be making that known to the party at a senior level."
