A bus service that was axed at the beginning of the year is making a comeback just months later.
Arriva announced at the end of last year they would be binning off their X30 route between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough as of January 4, 2022.
But as of June 5, the service will be making a comeback with journeys through West Wycombe village.
Buses will continue to run up to every 15 minutes between High Wycombe Bus Station, Princes Risborough, and Aylesbury Bus Station, Arriva has said.
Route 300 will now serve Naphill and Walters Ash every 30 minutes, with alternate journeys running as X30 fast via West Wycombe village.
“We’re delighted that our X30 service is making a comeback” said Toby France, Arriva’s Head of Commercial in Buckinghamshire.
“With summer just around the corner it’s the perfect time to jump on the bus and explore West Wycombe Park, Dashwood Mausoleum, and the Hellfire Caves.
"It’s great value too, with our Aylesbury Plus Four-Weekly ticket giving unlimited travel on our 300 and X30 services from under £2.50 per day.”
The new X30 service also offers faster end-to-end journeys for those travelling between High Wycombe and Aylesbury, with service 300 continuing to extend to Henry Floyd School in Aylesbury and the Marlow Hill schools in High Wycombe during the school term.
