A fallen tree that was causing severe delays on the M40 near Aylesbury was cleared up by police.
On Monday afternoon, traffic on the motorway between Junctions 9 and 10 was severely impacted after a large tree fell across the carriageway.
Fortunately, police officers who were called to the scene were able to quickly move the limbs off the road, allowing the traffic to continue to flow.

The road has since been fully reopened.
A video shared on the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing social media pages shows officers work quickly to get the tree onto the hard shoulder by using a tow rope.
The foliage had been blocking two lanes on the carriageway, but the officers were able to open up lanes two and three after towing the tree away.
