A BMW driver who had no insurance has had his car seized after he stopped to talk to police who were dealing with another incident.
Officers on patrol in Aylesbury on Sunday stopped a grey Vauxhall Corsa after a scan showed it was not insured.
After pulling over the driver, he admitted that he only had a provisional licence and had recently been in court for the exact same offence.
While the officers were dealing with the matter, the BMW driver stopped and came over to speak with them, telling them that he was the owner of the Corsa. Shortly afterwards, the officers discovered that he was not even insured the drive the BMW.

The police proceeded to seize both cars, and both drivers were reported to the courts. The Corsa driver could also face a driving ban due to the number of points he has already accumulated on his provisional licence.
On social media, TVP Roads Policing described the incident as a “double whammy”.
