An alleged attack on a horse is being investigated by police after a mare was found with "suspicious" injuries.
The horse had reportedly escaped from its field in Princes Risborough and had received some injuries that has led Thames Valley Police to think the mare may have been attacked by someone.

She said: "Police are currently investigating an alleged horse attack on a mare in Princes Risborough.
"The horse had escaped from its field and has received some injuries that are being treated as suspicious.
