An abusive 75-year-old man has been ordered to pay up after he attacked two police officers.
John Johnston, of Denby Walk in Aylesbury, assaulted two female PCs in Aylesbury on April 15, Wycombe Magistrates' Court heard on May 3.

At the hearing, Johnston pleaded guilty to two charges of assault by beating of an emergency worker and one charge of using abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress - all committed on April 15.
The magistrates ordered that the 75-year-old pay £75 in compensation to each of the officers he assaulted, in addition to a £173 fine and £119 court costs.
