Amersham Fire Station is joining a charity car wash at Great Missenden Fire Station on Saturday May 28.
The big national car wash event for good cause is on between 10am and 4pm at Great Missenden Fire Station on High Street.
Those paying for a wash on the day will help the Fire Fighters Charity and the organisation Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents (SSNAP).
An Amersham Fire Station spokesperson said: "It’s been a long time since we have been able to invite the community onto a fire station and it is important to raise money for both amazing charities that mean a lot to our firefighters!"
"It would be amazing to see the local community come down and see the fire engine and get some fire safety advice from ourselves and show them what we do and show them we are here whenever they may need our help or advice."
