Inquests have been launched into the deaths of three people who were found stabbed to death in Bourne End.
Jeffrey Farrance, 67, and Susan Farrance, 65, both from Bourne End, and Lance Oldale, 51, of Hazlemere, were all found dead in Orchard House, an assisted living apartment block in Spring Gardens, Bourne End, on Tuesday 19 April.
Very few details were revealed about the circumstances of the deaths at the brief hearing at Beaconsfield Coroners’ Court this morning (Tuesday) but police are continuing to investigate the matter and are also looking into the “mental health issues” of one of the three deceased, the court heard.
All three were found dead in the flat. A post-mortem examination found that they all died from stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

Mr and Mrs Farrance lived together in the assisted living flats. Police have revealed that Mr Oldale was known to the couple, but the nature of their relationship has not been made public.
Thames Valley Police launched a murder investigation after the bodies were discovered but have announced that they are not looking for any suspects.
At the opening of the inquest, senior coroner for Buckinghamshire Crispin Butler announced that the police investigation was still ongoing.
He said: “The circumstances of the tragic incident in which these three died is the subject of an ongoing police investigation and I make no further comment on those circumstances at this stage.
On Mr Oldale, he added: “Lance’s recent mental health issues are the subject of an investigation.”
Mr Butler added that full inquests for the three deceased will be held in the future, and that it will be decided in due course whether they will be held together or individually.
The court also heard that family members were aware that the hearing was taking place, but none were present in the court.
Mr Butler ended the hearing by adjourning proceedings to a pre-inquest review, which will take place on August 18.
