It was a busy day for the officers at Thames Valley Police as several people were apprehended for motoring crimes in the county.
Throughout Thursday, May 12 in the south of Buckinghamshire, many cars and vans were seized which included an Audi A3 in Chalfont St Giles.
The authorities attempted to stop the car but it ‘took off at speed and entered the village car park to evade the officers.’

On the same day, a driver was arrested in Amersham for ‘overtaking queuing traffic’ whilst also going through a red light.
It was also revealed that the motorist did this in front of a police car.
The driver was reported and now faces having points put on their license along with a fine.
Overtaking queuing traffic & driving through a red traffic light is never a great idea but doing it right in front us is a really bad one 🤦♂️

The BMW was seized for no insurance. After being reported the driver called their mate for a lift
When the mate turned up their van triggered our #ANPR camera as it had been untaxed since last year! The van was also seized pic.twitter.com/G55mbvXX76
It was discovered that the van, which was a Ford Transit, triggered the police’s ANPR Camera as it had not been taxed since 2021.
Both vehicles were taken off the road.
