A High Wycombe thief with a taste for luxurious chocolates has been jailed.
Richard Jefferies, 36, of Pallatia Court, High Wycombe, has been locked away for 12 weeks after he stole £66-worth of Ferrero Rocher chocolates from Sainsbury's on March 10.
The Wycombe-based thief, convicted of multiple offences in the past months and years, appeared again at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on April 26.
The court heard how two weeks after lifting the hazelnut confectioneries, on March 30, Jeffries was equipped for another theft, having been caught with a foil-lined box concealed within a rucksack.

On the same date, Jefferies was also caught in possession of crack cocaine and heroin.
At Wycombe Magistrates' Court, Jefferies pleaded guilty to theft, going equipped for theft, and two counts of Class A drug possession.
In total, the offender was jailed for 12 weeks. He must also pay £85 in costs.
