The yearly Mental Health Awareness Week runs between May 9 and May 15.
Because loneliness can creep up on anyone, this year’s campaign helps people to tackle loneliness with practical advice from the Mental Health Foundation, the charity behind the global campaign.
In Bucks, the volunteer group Mental Health Mates Amersham and Chalfont organises a walk in Hodgemoor Woods on Sunday May 15 at 11am.
The organised walk is a chance to enjoy fresh air with others in a non-judgemental space, and children and dogs are welcome.
This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we're looking at how loneliness can result from mental health stigma and discrimination. Watch Lee's story about his experiences @BucksMind @BucksCouncil
