The identity of a man who was found stabbed to death alongside a married Bourne End couple has been revealed.
Lance John Oldale, aged 51, was found dead in a flat in Orchard House, in Spring Gardens, on April 19, alongside Jeff and Sue Farrance.
All three died of stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. Police launched a murder investigation but said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the "complex" probe.
Mr Oldale was from Hazlemere.
An inquest into the deaths of Mr and Mrs Farrance and Mr Oldale will be opened at Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court next week on May 17.
Armed police swooped on Orchard House, breaking down a back gate at the Red Kite Community Housing sheltered scheme, just before 10pm following calls to a fear for welfare.
Once inside the flat, they immediately saw evidence of a "serious assault".
Thames Valley Police launched a murder investigation, saying it was a "targeted assault" and all three victims knew each other.
Following their deaths, tributes were paid to Sue, 65, and Jeff, aged 67, who were described as a "lovely Christian couple".
Friends described them as "amazing" people who were heavily involved with Kings Church in High Wycombe.
