A 27-year-old man has been arrested at Gatwick Airport in connection with a rape in Aylesbury.
In the evening of May 9, the man was detained by Border Force officers at the West Sussex-based airport before being arrested by the authorities from Thames Valley Police.

This is linked to an incident that happened in the early hours of Sunday, October 10, 2021, when a woman in her 20s was attacked by a person she did not know in the Churchyard of St Mary’s Church, near Kingsbury Square.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that the man in question currently remains in custody at this time.
