Wycombe-based DIY outlet Isaac Lord was named Britain's Best Tool Retailer for the third time in four years at the recent 2007 DIY Retail Awards in Manchester.
The business also picked up an award for being Best Retail Trainer, beating competition from hardware stores, garden centre groups, and cooking shops.
Managing Director Andrew Weiss said: "I am absolutely delighted for the team, they were determined to win back the Tool Retailer award this year and have worked very hard to refresh our offer."
The company, which has been based in Desborough Road since 1892, picked up the awards at the Manchester Deansgate Hilton Hotel from comedian Bob Mills in front of more than 300 of the industry's top names.
Mr. Weiss said: "The Training Award is a very special achievement and this success is down to having a focused plan and enthusiastic support throughout the business. We've got some very special people here and they deserve this recognition."
