Donald Bravington, 68, from Wycombe Marsh, has been going to the King George V in London Road, High Wycombe, since he was 20 years old
Why do you like the King George V?
It's an old-fashioned pub that looks like it should be in the country. The open fire helps in winter, it does my old bones good.
What is your favourite tipple?
I always have a pint of Courage best bitter. It's the best pint in town here, and I have been to most of them.
How often do you come here?
I don't come in every day but sometimes my dog drags me in. I probably end up here two to three times a week. I sometimes come in on a Sunday lunchtime, but if you prefer it a bit rowdier you can try the back room. The young ones watch football there.
What is the atmosphere like?
It had started to die a death but with new managers it's picking up and more people are coming in.
What is the food like?
I haven't eaten here since it changed management but the menu looks good and the price of the food is reasonable too.
How has the pub changed over the years?
It used to be a lot different. They had around four bars, and a tiny one with a bar billiards table. There were just bottles and jugs then and there even used to be someone playing a piano in the back room.
