The first new market day attracted a huge crowd during a sunny Easter Sunday.
More than 2000 people came to check out the new Amersham artisan market held in Old Town on April 17.
Amersham social media channels filled with excited comments and pictures from the market, which brought 18 artisan traders to town – all based in the Chilterns area.
Mark Dormer, Chair of Amersham and Villages Community Board and Councillor, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people come from near and far, and most excitingly this was just the first market”
“There was a real carnival atmosphere.”
The High Street pubs, cafes and coffee shops were packed, and the blossoming Memorial Gardens were also busy.
Market visitors can use the Dovecote Car Park for free on Sundays.
The next market is on Sunday May 22.
