Amersham gin lovers are in for a treat this summer after a gin producer announced a new June cocktail event in town.

The event ‘Old Amersham Garden Party’ is the lovechild of two Buckinghamshire gin and spirit producers, the Griffiths Brothers Distillery and Old Amersham Gin, who are hosting the new summer celebration.   

In addition to cocktail treats, the event on June 11 at 12.30-7pm caters for food lovers, as artisan food will be served by local restaurants together with local beers courtesy of Amersham’s Mad Squirrel Brewery.

As there is no garden party without music, punters are treated to live music sets from bands and DJs. 

An Amersham local band, Tinlin, has already been confirmed for the music line-up. 

Old Amersham Gin’s owner, Daniella said: “We are so excited to be collaborating with Griffiths Brothers Distillery for this event!

“It will be a fabulous day for the locals to enjoy and will be a great opportunity for anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to try any of our products yet to come along and try them.”

Alex, co-owner of Griffiths Brothers Distillery, commented “We can’t wait to host our first major event with Old Amersham Gin. It will be a great opportunity to meet some of our local customers as well as (hopefully) some new ones.”
