Hughenden Ladies Running Group has around 60 members.
The Hughenden Ladies Running Group took part in the Wycombe Rye parkrun event on April 2 to celebrate the group’s 10-year anniversary.
Together with more than 290 runners, the women set off for the 5km route through The Rye on a sunny but frosty morning.
Wycombe Rye parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event every Saturday, open to all abilities.
Helen Hinde, organiser of Hughenden Ladies, said: “We had great fun doing our ‘parkrun Takeover’ and a few of our ladies ran too, two of whom had not run a parkrun before.
“The group welcomes ladies of all levels of running competence – complete beginners through to seasoned Marathon and Ultra runners."
