Two Chesham schools join The Kings Education Trust (KET) in a ‘long waited transfer'.
On March 1 2022, Waterside Primary Academy and Ivingswood Academy in Chesham completed their transfer to The Kings Education Trust (KET).
The CEO of KET, Jo Garlick, is looking forward to the potential of the two schools joining their current school, Great Kingshill Combined School in High Wycombe.
She said: “We are looking forward to working closely together as a group of three schools as members of Kings Education Trust and we know that all the school communities will benefit from the collaboration.

“We recognise that for Ivingswood Academy and Waterside Primary Academy this has been a long journey and are pleased that this also signifies the growth of the Kings Education Trust.
“We appreciate the continued support of staff, parents and carers over the last few years and are looking forward to planning events for pupils and staff and developing a positive, continuing relationship as we seek to further enhance the educational experiences and outcomes for pupils across all the three schools.
Children and staff from all three schools attended an assembly at Waterside in Chesham to talk about the new life together as three schools.
After the assembly and a tour of the school, the children were treated to pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday and their newly-formed friendships.
