"Horrifed" theatre-goers have complained about huge queues to pay for parking at a busy High Wycombe car park - and urged the council to do something about it.
The Swan car park in St Mary Street is always a busy place due to its convenient location in the town centre, but it is also where the majority of people heading to the Wycombe Swan Theatre park.
And some theatre-goers have complained about queues that are regularly forming after hundreds of people all attempt to line up at the parking payment machines in the car park.

One person, complaining to Buckinghamshire Council via FixMyStreet, on Monday, April 4, said they had to queue for 30 minutes after leaving a show at the theatre that evening and said it was a good job it was not raining.
They said: "I attended the Swan tonight and was horrified at having to queue for 30 minutes just to pay for the parking.
"Getting out of the car park itself has always been a nightmare but in addition to that you now have to queue for a considerable amount of time before you can get to your car - not ideal for anyone but especially those of us with elderly and/or disabled companions.
"In the basement one machine was already out of order and a second, the middle, failed while we were queuing.
"I could hear the guy on the intercom trying to help but to no avail.
"Surely there has to be a better system to keep this car park moving? What about the Ringo app etc? Thank goodness it wasn’t raining!"
Another person, complaining a month before on Friday, March 4, said the current system of lining up to pay for parking before you leave the car park just is not working.
They said: "The current system where you can only pay for parking just before you leave doesn't work for shows at the Swan as the entire audience needs to pay at the same time.

"It should be possible to pay in advance if you know how long you will be parked for, particularly when charging stops at 8pm so the cost won't be more if an evening show overruns.
"Alternatively offer online payment, so long as the system doesn't crash with multiple users of course!"
Another person said the entire car park needs a revamp and a deep clean because it "stinks" and the car park is a "nightmare" when it is busy.
They said: "This car park is a nightmare at busy times, such as after a show at the theatre and always stinks, especially around the stairs and in the lifts!
"Time for a major modern re-design and good deep clean to make it more appealing and welcoming!"

It's not the first time there have been complaints about the cleanliness of the car park.
Back in 2015, Lane End resident Caroline Watson sparked a huge debate after pointing out the "overpowering" smell in the car park.
In response to the complaints about the queues to park, Cllr Peter Martin, the deputy cabinet member for transport, said they were working with their suppliers to provide a solution to the issues.
He said: "The council is aware that exiting the car park after busy shows can take longer than usual, due to large numbers of people leaving at a similar time.
"On the day in question [April 4], unfortunately two of the payments machines were out of service.
"These were attended and repaired as soon as possible and put back into working order.
"We are currently working with our suppliers to provide the best possible solution for customers with consideration given to the use of RingGo and would thank those affected for their patience.”
