Wycombe Wanderers today pays tribute to one of its all-time legends – Matt Bloomfield – who has announced his retirement from playing the game on medical grounds.
Wycombe take on the Pilgrims who sit five points ahead and three places above the Chairboys, but a win for Wanderers on April 15 could see them move back into the sixth with three games to go.

Got something in my eye 😢 What an amazing player he’s been for us for so long always giving his heart & soul for our club. We were blessed to have him on the pitch and lucky to still have him off it. Thank you Blooms for everything 💙 #Legend #MrWycombe #FutureManager
