There are only a few games left before Adebayo Akinfenwa hangs up his boots for the final time.
The much-loved striker and fan favourite at Adams Park announced at the start of the season that this campaign would be his 22nd and last as a professional, which has seen him score more than 200 club goals.
He recently celebrated his long career in Wycombe’s 2-0 home win over Doncaster Rovers on April 2, with the fixture being dedicated to the ‘Big Man’, as manager Gareth Ainsworth calls him with a cameo appearance.
Following the win over the League One strugglers, he spent the next 90 minutes posing for pictures and signing autographs for those who stayed behind, acknowledging every fan and spectator in what was a wholesome moment at Adams Park.
But this isn't just a one-off thing.
Memories that will last a lifetime were created in a few minutes, or even a few seconds with the Beast, which is why he will be hugely missed at Adams Park.
So, to show your appreciation to the ever-popular Akinfenwa, here is a collection of snaps by fans with the Beast during his six-year stay with the club.
