A High Wycombe man who attacked two women has avoided going to jail.
Luke Knight, aged 22, of London Road, was given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for one year after he pleaded guilty to multiple offences at a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on March 18.
The court heard how Knight assaulted two women in High Wycombe – one on November 25, 2021 and the other on May 24, 2021. The court heard that a small child was present during at least one of the attacks.
The magistrates were also told how on March 16 this year, Knight caused one of the victims distress by making a threatening phone call to them.

The court heard that when these offences took place, Knight was already serving a community order for a previous offence of breaching a non-molestation order, which he received in December 2020.
At the hearing on March 18, Knight pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and one count of sending a threatening message. He was also sentenced for the previous conviction of breaching a non-molestation order.
The court heard that Knight had a history of “failing to comply with court orders” and of offending while serving on orders.
The Magistrates opted to give him a prison sentence but stopped short of sending Knight straight to jail, instead suspending the term for 12 months.
He will also have to pay £213 in costs.
