We all know that drug dealers get lengthy prison sentences – but what about the lower-level drug offenders?
Drug drivers who put other people on the road at risk or people who keep their own private stashes of illegal substances often find themselves in court, but are not deemed dangerous enough to put behind bars.
Here is a list of the drug offenders sentenced at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court in the last month.

Richard Jefferies, 36, of Pallatia Court, High Wycombe. Possession of a controlled Class A drug - heroin. On September 22, in High Wycombe, had a quantity of diamorphine in their possession. Fined £120. Costs £85. Heroin to be forfeited and destroyed.
Florin Negrut, 24, of, Canterbury Avenue, Slough. Driving over the drug drive limit. On August 11, 2021, in Slough, had a quantity of Methylamphetamine in their blood. Disqualified from driving for 36 months. Fined £120. Driving over the drug drive limit. On August 11, 2021, in Slough, had a quantity of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £85.
Martyn Busby, 33, of Widecroft Road, Iver. Driving over the drug drive limit. On August 21, 2021, on the A4 Bath Road, Taplow, had an amount of Benzoylecgonine in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Driving over the drug drive limit. On August 21, 2021, on the A4 Bath Road, Taplow, had a proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £180.

Shariff Wilson, 25, of Carrington Way, Prestwood. Driving over the drug drive limit. On October 7, 2020, in Kennedy Avenue, High Wycombe, had a proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £242. Costs £434. Driving record endorsed with 10 points.
Thomas Pennie, 23, of Bathurst Walk, Iver. Driving over the drug drive limit. On September 24, 2021, in Bathurst Walk, Iver, had a proportion of Delta - 9 – Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
