A teenage boy has been stabbed in the chest in broad daylight by a group of males wearing balaclavas.

The boy was attacked at around 4.10pm on Saturday afternoon on a footpath in Milton Keynes, between Swinden Court and Grafton Street.

The victim was approached by two males, aged around 17 years old.

The attackers asked the victim two questions before then stabbing him in the chest.

A third member of the group, also male and of similar age, then came along and the trio made off towards Tesco in Swinden Court.

The victim received treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital and has since been discharged.

All three attackers are described as black males of skinny build.

One of the offenders had braids that were in plaits. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up and an unbranded puffer jacket.

The second assailant was wearing a black balaclava, sunglasses and a black trench coat.

The third member of the group also wore a black balaclava and sunglasses. He was dressed in black jogging bottoms and a black jacket.

Investigating officer, PC Remi Askey, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are asking for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“We are particularly keen to speak to a  member of the public who assisted the victim after the incident by booking him a taxi and providing him with a taxi fare.

“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
