The former Amersham youth centre was demolished on March 24 ahead of building work associated with the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre.
Demolition machines arrived at the site of the former youth club, nursery and Drake Hall already on Monday March 21 to make space for the Chiltern Avenue Car Park and new external play areas.
Social media post from a resident showed the banner of Amersham Youth Centre on the side of the former club building on Tuesday, and on Thursday the building was gone.
The post attracted reminiscent comments from many about the youth centre.
One social media user said: “Used to go there every fortnight for swimming with my younger brother and stepdad.
“It will be missed despite its many flaws.”
The brand new Chilterns Lifestyle Centre opened its doors on December 6 after delays with construction.
The building contractor will have mitigation measures in place for demolition noise and dust, the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre said.
