An Amersham runner was left shocked after he found a fly-tip of freezers and fridges dumped on a nature lane on Bottom House Farm Lane in the Hodgemoor Woods in Amersham.
Georg Wanek noticed the fly-tip on Saturday March 19 and reported it to the Bucks Council and on social media.
He was concerned as the fly-tip was right next to a large spot of pine trees and rare woods.
The passionate runner originally from Austria said: “From my experience fly tipping is not just a local phenomenon.”

"While running and I have spotted wild waste at many places; and so in the Chilterns where I live since 2019.
"Perhaps a particular disruption happens when we spot pollution at our outstanding nature beauty?
"However, one little action we can all do is reporting such incidents to the council.
"The Bucks council offers a service to report flytipping that allows to upload pictures and details and mark the location on a map.
"Having done this for the first time this process was straightforward and we could contribute to effectively get wast removed and track affected areas."
On Wednesday March 23 one social media user said the dirty and rusty white goods had been removed.

Peter Strachan, Buckinghamshire Council’s Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Environment, said the Council was aware of the problems on Bottom Farm Lane and “have organised clearance at the earliest opportunity”.
"Buckinghamshire Council has a ‘zero tolerance’ enforcement policy for fly-tipping, and we will continue to do all we can to bring those responsible to justice and to take measures to reduce fly-tipping.
“We’ve even recently seen a prolific fly-tipper receive a jail sentence for his crimes so I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering fly-tipping instead of responsibly disposing of waste.”
