A woman and a child were rushed to hospital following a crash on the A40 London Road on Tuesday evening.
At around 6.15pm on Tuesday evening, two cars were involved in a crash on the main road, near the junction with Easton Street.
Police, ambulance, and firefighters all rushed to the scene as part of an emergency response.
Firefighters had to remove the doors from one of the cars involved in the crash to free a woman who was trapped inside.

After removing her safely from the vehicle, the woman was placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
One woman and two boys were able to get out of the vehicles before the emergency services arrived.
South Central Ambulance Service has confirmed that a woman was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A child was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Thames Valley Police officers were on the scene to close the road while the area was made safe and the debris cleared away.
The police force is not currently seeking witnesses to the incident and has declined to comment further on the matter.
