A lorry carrying half a tonne of paper caught fire in Loudwater on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to Knaves Beech Way at around 10.15am, where they found the back of the lorry was ablaze.
The vehicle was carrying around 500kg of shredded paper.
Firefighters from Beaconsfield and Amersham were on hand to deal with the blaze. Crews used a breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put out the inferno.
Once the fire had died down, they then used haydrags to turn the paper over and ensure it was properly damped down.
No one was harmed in the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently not clear.
