Marlow Rotary Club is carrying out a street collection to buy medical supplies for people affected by the war in Ukraine.
The collection will be from 9am to 4pm on Saturday (March 27) at four different points in the town centre.
Money will be collected outside WHSmiths on the High Street, the back and front of Sainsbury's on West Street, and on the Causeway near Marlow Bridge.
The donations will be given to the International Rotary Fellowship of Healthcare Professionals Trust Fund (https://rotaryhealthprofessionals.org.).
This body consists of doctors who are also Rotarians and it has members both in Ukraine as well as the neighbouring countries.
They have formed a network that acquires medications and medical equipment that is urgently needed in the warzone and on the borders with Ukraine.
A spokesperson for the Marlow Rotary Club said: "The public of Marlow has always been very generous in their support of other such Rotary collections, for disasters such as the Tsunami and many others over the years, and we hope they will support the desperate cause of the Ukrainian people at this tragic time for their nation.
"If you find yourself in Marlow next Saturday, please donate through one of our collectors."
The collection will be in cash, but machines will be available to pay by card if preferred.
