A woman has been arrested after an eight-year-old girl was injured in a suspected attack in Bucks.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following an incident in Milton Keynes on Saturday.

A man and a woman in their thirties, and the young girl, were all left with cuts and bruises in the incident. None of them required hospital treatment.

The injuries came following an altercation that took place at around 7.20pm on Saturday in Shepherds, Fullers Slade.

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault, affray, and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident. She has been released on police bail until April 17.

PC Callum Sharp, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this assault or have information about it to please get in touch.
