WORLD BOOK DAY in Bucks saw children dressed as heroes, wizards and dinosaurs for school as they celebrated the joy of reading.
Bucks Free Press received nearly 100 pictures from readers – thank you!
The youngest reader could be 5-week-old Zachary, dressed as the hungry caterpillar.
Parents and children got creative to mark the annual celebration of stories and well-loved characters from novels and comics books.
Superheroes were popular and young Aadam, aged 1, became Superman for the day in his marvellous costume.
