PLANS to bulldoze a vehicle repair shop for flats have been rejected.

“The necessary scale of the building to provide the proposed quantum of development, given the site constraints, would be out of keeping and inappropriate, leading to an overly dominant and intrusive building,” a council document.
Adding: “The Preliminary Ecological Appraisal dates back to June 2020 and thus would not reflect the latest ecological situation on site. As such, there is insufficient information to demonstrate that the proposal would conserve and enhance biodiversity.”
